Stanley A. Harter is a Partner based in Reid & Hellyer's Temecula office and practices in the areas of business, tax controversy, real estate transactions and estate planning.
Mr. Harter also has extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, representing both buyers and sellers, primarily working with Southern California businesses having between $5,000,000 and $200,000,000 in annual gross revenues.

As a planning commissioner for the City of Temecula since 2005, Mr. Harter plays a key role in determining how the city develops and also helps to make the city's land-use decisions that impact businesses, developers and property owners. As a director since 2003, and as chairman, of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce from 2008 through 2010, Mr. Harter has helped lead the city's business organization in civic affairs and helped strengthen the business community.
Mr. Harter is also a Director-at-Large with the Economic Development Council of Southwest Riverside County, helping to promote economic activities in one of the fastest-growing regions in Southern California.
Mr. Harter has served as a director of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, a director of the Estate Planning Council of Riverside County, a director and president of the Estate Planning Council of San Bernardino County and a director of the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County.
Mr. Harter earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in San Diego and earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of San Diego School Of Law. He is admitted to practice law in U.S. Tax Court, Federal District Court and is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association.
